A Nameless Thing

The third render in what is now my series of underground chamber scenes.

I textured the foreground rock walls in Substance painter, and the creature with vertex painting - everything else was box mapping and camera projection. This scene re-uses the staircase geometry from my Lord of Oil render, but with new textures to fit the different mood.

I reused the brick stairs from my "Lord of Oil" scene; a simple grid with overlapping bricks was enough to make the staircase look like a solid object.
